A workshop on insect identification and management with a BONUS pathology session will be held at Emerald on Wednesday 6 December at the DAF Conference room (Hospital Rd).
Previous workshops were held in Gunnedah (2 November) and Dalby (8 November).
The Emerald workshop’s previously promoted insect presentation and hands-on session in the morning (8:20-12:30) will now be followed by a new pathology session on endemic and exotic diseases in grain crops after lunch.
Workshops are tailored to include topics of interest to the local region (use the comments box below to add suggestions of topics you’d like covered).
The workshop’s hands-on component features natural enemies and commonly confused species, and provides a wonderful opportunity for you to get up close and personal with insect specimens.
The workshop is free with morning tea and lunch provided. If you have food allergies, please let us know when registering.
